In my experience, I had repeated difficulty getting a technician assigned in my area who would accept the offered rates.

Reimbursement Rates
I was told I could hire my own technician and be reimbursed—but after I hired my own technician, the reimbursement offered to me covered only part of the invoice (in my situation), leaving me responsible for the remainder.

Depreciated value vs. replacement cost
In my experience, when reimbursement was offered instead of repair, the amount reflected a depreciated value that differed significantly from the cost to replace the item. I was not aware of any publicly available reference explaining how these values are determined, which made it difficult for me to understand the practical value of the coverage in advance.

Frustrating phone system
In my experience, the phone system requires me to repeat information multiple times.

Scripted support
In my experience, every call follows the exact same script. The agents are kind, even apologetic—but clearly seem to be limited in what they’re allowed or able to do.
